This talk was originally conceived to celebrate Jane Austens 250th Birthday. It shows, describes with photos and maps the travels Jane did to visit her West Kent relations and later her East Kent family. Most of the places described can still be travelled to and attendees can easily follow routes and places. If Jane has been to your place, it can be features as part of the talk.

I also have a keen interest in other historic topics such as English Country Houses and Gardens, Transport links, Britain at War amongst others. In the quieter months of the year I started to offer the first talk and are planning to prepare more. They are more like travelling around with a tourist guide showing and explaining what you see, but in the comfort of your local society meeting or even online. Talks can be given in English or German.
