About Me

Sport completely changed my life.

What started as a passion for athletics grew into a journey that taught me discipline, resilience, leadership, and the importance of never giving up when life becomes difficult. I helped establish university athletics opportunities, made my BUCS National debut, became a multiple-time university record holder, and qualified as an England Athletics Assistant Coach.

However, my journey has not been a straight path to success.

In 2024, I faced one of the most challenging periods of my life. Within a short space of time, I tore both hamstrings, suffered an L5-S1 back strain, was involved in two car accidents, and experienced a serious anaphylactic reaction that led to a period of hospitalisation.

For many people, those setbacks would have marked the end of their sporting ambitions.

Instead, they became the beginning of a new chapter.

After two years of injuries, rehabilitation, setbacks, and uncertainty, I committed myself to rebuilding both physically and mentally. Through consistency, patience, and determination, I transformed my lifestyle, reducing my body weight from 88kg to 75.9kg while returning stronger than ever.

The following year, I achieved something I had been chasing for a long time: I broke my personal bests in both the 100m and 200m sprint events.

My talks focus on helping young people understand that success is not about avoiding challenges—it's about how you respond to them. Through my experiences in sport and life, I share practical lessons on resilience, goal setting, confidence, mental wellbeing, leadership, and overcoming adversity.

I want students to leave my talks understanding that setbacks do not define them. Whether it's sport, education, or life, progress comes from persistence, self-belief, and the courage to keep moving forward when things get tough.

Because sometimes your greatest achievements come after your hardest struggles.
