I've been living afloat since 2003 in an ex hire steel narrowboat.
My talk can be tailored to your time needs, though somewhere between half an hour and one hour is preferable.
I tend to talk about boating life in general, how it differs from 'normal' living and if time permits explain the pace of canal life by running through a typical week's cruise on the UK canals.

I've been a driving instructor for over a decade, teaching cars right through to articulated trucks. Currently I teach truck driving and a whole range of road safety subjects including, but not limited to fire fighting, emergency 1st Aid, transportation of dangerous goods.
Long established pixel pusher - I do a lot of digital image manipulation.
And finally, a liveaboard boater for over over a little under 20 years, living on a steel narrowboat.
