A fascinating in person talk that can be given either with or without a live honeybee colony in an observation hive. The talk focuses on the importance of all bees and pollinators, not just honeybees but also has an opportunity for attendees to get up close to the observation hive to see the bees at work and possibly even spot the Queen laying an egg. The talk can be tailored around any specific needs or interests on the group so could be focused on beekeeping and honey production or alternatively planting for pollinators and looking after our wild and solitary bees or indeed a bit of both!
