A lively and funny performance of a variety of poems and anecdotes, from a very experienced performer. It lasts about 50 minutes. You might not leave knowing much about poetry but you will have been entertained!

At the same time I was performing in a variety of spoken word groups and solo situations. In 1997, I began an MA in Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam University, which I completed in 2000. From 2004 until 2019, I went full time and worked in schools, libraries, arts centres and festivals as a poet, a spoken word performer and workshop facilitator. I also taught Creative Writing (both at BA and MA level) at Sheffield Hallam University. During all this time I had a variety of poetry books published by Macmillans Children's Books, Frances Lincoln and Small Donkey Press as well as many poems and stories published in anthologies. However, I still continued performing for the Grown Ups. Indeed, this summer will be my twelfth Edingburgh Fringe, performing as part of The Glummer Twins (we produced a video perfomance during Lock Down). I live in South Yorkshire with my wife Paula, who is an artist and we are very proud grand-parents!
