As a former professional actress, I have been a Speaker for the WI, U3A, Probus and very many other clubs and organisations for some years. In terms of my Speaker profile, I describe myself as a performer and entertainer, with a range of talks on people including Joyce Grenfell, Pam Ayres, Victoria Wood and Thira Hird. Live entertainment in an intimate setting is a rare commodity now, and one which I find is very much appreciated. One of the many WI branches were kind enough to write: “Her performance kept members enthralled, both with her professionalism and great talent.
