I have been aware of the prospects of Crypto and been involved with Cryptocurrency since the launch of Bitcoin (BTC) way back in 2009, trading at $0.00099 per coin, when one BTC could be exchange for $5.02 via PayPal – today, BTC trades at $98.093.47 (with 19.91 million in circulation). The second most valued coin is Ethereum (ETH) which launched 30 July 2015, trading at a lacklustre $0.311per coin – again, today ETH is trading at £2,494.71. In 2025 the Cryptocurrency market hosts approximately 21,000 Altcoins in circulation (Altcoin = any other coin than BTC and ETH). As an example, ranging from DOGECOIN (DOGE) with a trading volume of $1,694,757,635.00 to SUI and many more in between, so no matter what you read in the press, or on TV programmes like the Martin Lewis Money Show who downplay Cryptocurrency, it ain’t going away anytime soon – we live in at time which needs imagination to see what the future of Financial Markets holds - period!

Consider the changes in attitude with the US administration with their proactive stance toward the Cryptocurrency markets with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announcing the first ever cryptocurrency trading on CFTC-registered futures exchanges, supported by many Think Tanks, one of which is the President's Working Group on Digital Assets Markets. It is worthy of note, that whilst some panellists on the Martin Lewis Money Show discounted Cryptocurrency, it is worthy of note that US banks in the form of J P Morgan, City, Well Fargo, Bank of America and others are now engaging with the world of Crypto. To add even more credible facts to the matter of how Cryptocurrency is being embraced by the banking sector, here consider the $400 billion PNC Private Bank whose strapline is 'Turning Financial Complexities into Future Realities' has partnered with Coinbase to launch BTC trading. Fact is, Cryptocurrency will be a major disrupter in 2026 and onward.

For anyone who may be interested in entering the world of Cryptocurrency, in my experience they have been put of by the supposed complexities, the cyber security challenges, and frankly the bad press.

This presentation will outline the pitfalls and dangers, discuss what insecurity looks like compared to a secure platform, and cover the host of other technological aspects such as Seed Phrase Security, BIP39, Account Recovery, the BTC Four Year Cycle, Blockchain, NFT’s, DeFI, Hot v Cold Wallets, Platforms, Exchanges, Cryptocurrency Protocoles, and how to make that first 'secure' trade.

I promise, at the conclusion of this presentation, you will fully appreciate just how powerful this new-age money really is - it is the emergence of a global financial backbone which will shape the next world order of Global Fiscal Structures.

To that end, I am currently writing a book called the 'Crystal Maze of Crypto', with the objective of helping those who are looking for knowledge about the New Age of Finance, who want to be a part of the revolution - as I have already said, Cryptocurrency ain't going away anytime soon, and is still the opportunity of the century.
