A continuous pictorial trip by rail from China, through Mongolia, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, France, the Channel Tunnel, London, Leeds to Cononley (North Yorkshire). This trip was not a non-stop "back-packers" endurance test. I was 70-years old when I made this solo trip, which was done in reasonable comfort, allowing me to examine and enjoy the local communities and cultures en-route. The journey included 2 night hotel stops in Ulan Bator, Irkutsk, Lake Baikal, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Moscow
Running time 60 minutes, or 120 minutes with break.
Views: 58 | Enquiries: 1I have been a transport photographer (mainly trams and trains) since the 1960s and have travelled the world for work and leisure, pursuing my interest whenever possible.
I also have an interest in bridges and architecture (contrasting styles etc).
My talks range from 60 minutes without a break, to 90 - 120 minutes with a break.
