Home Staging is the art of styling a property to sell, or let, to enhance its best features and to limit the impact of any negative features to sell faster and maximise the selling price.

And it’s becoming more well-known and popular. I’m not an interior designer, but I talk about how best to present a home for sale with things which doesn’t cost a lot, such as lighting, or rearranging furniture. And not forgetting the outside space.

Everyone looks on RightMove or Zoopla or the like these days, so those photos are crucial to creating a good first impression to prospective buyers. I talk about kerb appeal, how to increase the number of viewings you get, how to be ready for each one, and how to cope with your pets, such as making sure their bedding is fresh.

I can also talk about how to declutter to move, and how to manage downsizing.

The talk is fully interactive.

About Liz Cox

I started The Home Sorter as I have a passion for creating organised spaces, and paperwork, and staging property to look its best.

I believe living in a clutter-free space has a powerful positive impact on our physical and mental wellbeing. Our digital space is equally important and often overlooked.

Having bought and sold homes I’ve developed a real eye for staging them to look their best, inside and out, for prospective buyers.

As a qualified accountant with over 25 years’ experience, I’m naturally professional and confidential, but able to share stories and tips on decluttering, organising and home staging.

I offer several talks and they can be combined and tailored to suit a groups interests.
