My talk is on my life as a picture dealer and restorer . I talk about my 50 years in the picture trade, meet many wonderful characters. The talk then goes on to describe many restoration jobs I have completed over the years. This is accompanied by a slide show of before and after restoration. At the end of the talk I ask the audience if anyone would like to try colour matching a small patch of damage on a painting. My talk lasts around 1hour.

I have been dealing in 18th and 19th century paintings for over 50 years. I started my career at the age of 16 doing a 2 year apprenticeship in picture restoration and went on to run my own business dealing in painting and offering a restoration service. Over the years I have met many amazing characters in the business. I am now in my late 60’s and semi retired. I have put together a talk on my life as a picture dealer and restorer, with many antidotes. I also have a slide show on restoration jobs I have completed.
