I first began working with birds of prey at 15 years old, and they since became a huge part of my life. From climbing trees to return Tawny Owl chicks to their nests, to training falcons for free flight or returning a Peregrine Falcon to its family - I've picked up a few wild stories over the years.
Views: 5 | Enquiries: 0I am an ornithologist specialising in birds of prey, working to restore lost species and habitats, with a passion for re-connecting people within nature.
After 10 years working as a raptor management specialist caring for over thirty different species in wildlife rehabilitation and free flight training programmes, I learned to look at the world from the perspective of the birds I was working with, and understand the biodiversity crisis in a different light.
Every human alive on earth today is in with a real shot of being part of the generation that can turn the biodiversity crisis around. Through speaking I share stories from my time with the birds, spark discussion, share science and maybe add a touch of humour - all to inspire a change for nature.
