A year of travelling has led to a deepening interest in rivers, their behaviours, their importance, their mistreatment and their stories. From the Tweed to the Turia- and others on the way.

I'm keen to help you. I've spent a long time speaking to groups of all ages and contexts and I'm pretty sure that I can encourage your group to think and to smile.
Brought up in Wigan, educated at Hull University and taught geography at challenging schools across the Midlands of England. Became a headteacher in 1999 and led secondary schools until 2018 when I stepped away to become a consultant, coach, cyclist . Since then I have travelled, thought , written and podcasted- and completed lots of park runs.
I enjoy engaging with people. No charge beyond travel expenses. It's all fun.
