The Somerset Wildlife Trust is one of 46 wildlife trusts working across the UK. We are focused on restoring habitats to support wildlife, and we actively inform, educate and encourage people to join us in this endeavour.

The presentation will showcase the work that we are already doing in Somerset and what members of the public can do to support wildlife in their own homes, gardens and surrounding areas. We know many of you are passionate about wildlife and the environment but maybe unsure of what positive steps you could take to make a difference. This presentation will demonstrate simple, low cost changes we can make at a personal level, right up to more ambitious action that can be taken in your town, village and surrounding environs.

As well as being a practical and informative guide, it also provides an opportunity to engage with the Trust in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, with ample opportunities for a question and answer element throughout. Our speakers are just waiting to tell you more about our work and highlight how your association, group or school can get involved.

All the presentations are done by volunteers to keep costs as low as possible, but we do have a minimum fee of £60.00 all of which goes towards the work of the Trust.
