We have all grown up listening to weather lore handed down over generations but is there any real truth in any of it and where has it all come from? As a retired teacher of Geography I have always been interested in the mixture of science and superstition behind those well known sayings and in this talk I try to separate the two. And of course where possible I give it a local Sussex slant.
