Di explains the process of research, the preparation, documentation and the actual writing of the memoir. Her talk is based on her experience writing Red House to Exodus a memoir of growing up in the 1950s and 1960s. She includes how to locate information from areas of her life. The process led her to make contact with school friends, revisit the town (was village) of her birth and research content.
