I have just self-published my first book, 'Caught in a RIPtide'. It is about my grief journey (both emotional and geographical) at age 62, solo backpacking 30,000 miles around Australia and beyond, after losing my husband, mother and dog - all within months of each other. This book is honest, witty, heartbreakingly raw in parts but will also have you crying with laughter.
My husband passed away 8 years after his initial cancer diagnosis and was devoted to raising money for cancer charities while he was able to. This book has allowed me to continue his work as I am donating £2 from each book sale, split equally between The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Bowel Cancer UK.
I would love to be considered to talk about my trip at your event please contact me to discuss further.
