With only small numbers of strongholds in the UK the Red Squirrel is living from permanent threat from the Grey Squirrel. Having found a place that I can sit and observe this small wonderful animal in its natural habitat going about it's business in the pine forest. Surrounded by hills and countryside this is a must talk for anyone interested in the is small resident of the UK. From 4 million in 1860 the decline was devastating and now we are left with roughly 270,000 the majority being in Scotland. The videos will show you how friendly this little creature is and funny but ever so quick when chased by another. I have studied this animal for 10 years and my knowledge is one you will impressed with. Images and videos from my latest vistts in 2026.

I film video and capture stills of the bird in fight and static. Following a family of Barn Owls this year I have had time to make a beautiful DVD and have made a Poem all about the Bird. My talks are very interesting and from my talks I have been able to make Wood carvings of the Barn Owl. I show my presentation DVD from an Epson projector with lovely Audio of the Song thrush and Wren, recorded from my Wildlife Hide.
