David is currently researching and writing a TV screenplay based on the much debated 1961 A6 Murder at the Deadmans Hill where James Hanratty was hanged for the murder of Michael Gregsten. The A6 murder was far more complicated than it originally appeared and David talks you thorough the suspects, coincidences and controvercy surrounding this case. Was James Hanratty, the last man to be hanged at Bedford Jail (but not the last to be hanged in the UK) guilty of the murder? Given all the evidence, it will be up to you to decide. Although David is mainly involved in light entertainemnt, as you will see by his CV, he has studied the A6 Murder and The Great Train Robbery in depth, both crimes having taken place near where David lived in his youth. The fee charged goes towards the development of the screenplay of 'Hanratty'.
