About Patricia Bentley

I am a Funeral Celebrant. Somebody said "do you put the fun in funerals?". Well, no, it's already there. But I have found that I can talk to groups, share empathy, and keep them amused and interested.

Having been a Registrar, registering births and deaths, and now as an Independent Funeral Celebrant, I have spent time with people at the most important times of their lives.

I don't have a serious "acting" background, but have spent a lot of time with amateur groups and feel very confident in the role of public speaker (a role that's important in my chosen career of course). I have conducted over 500 funerals, and can talk about all aspects.

I call myself Celebrant of Sussex - that's what I do and where I live.
