Most of us will reach a point in our lives where the realisation dawns that we are not reaching our potential, and we want to change to become the better versions of ourselves. But where do we begin? When old habits and ways of thinking are so ingrained in our psyche, how do we even start on the road to lasting change? Drawing from his background as a Baptist Minister and his own experience of hitting rock bottom before starting on his change-journey, James outlines the steps that anyone can take to change their life in this thought provoking, engaging and brutally honest talk.

About James Morgan

James Morgan is a former Baptist Minister and University Chaplain based in Cardiff who currently runs and owns ‘micro bars’ in South Wales. He believes passionately in the importance of community; that all people are ‘good enough’ just as they are; and that life is too short to drink bad beer.

James’ academic record includes an MTh in Church history (with distinction) and an MPhil thesis entitled ‘The Creolisation Of Themes And Motifs In Celtic Hagiography’, both from Cardiff University. He is currently studying for a PhD exploring the relationship between beer, religion and hospitality in medieval Britain.
