I have been performing as a tribute to Dame Vera Lynn for 25yrs and won a national tribute award in 2013 In 2015 I had the opportunity of meeting Dame Vera and spoke to her about her career During my talk I perform many of her hits and tell stories about her time serving as the Forces Sweetheart during WW2. I wear an authentic WW2 ENSA uniform After our chat she endorsed my show and I became an ambassador for her charity 'The Dame Vera Lynn Childrens Charity'

I am a professional entertainer and have been working in show business for over 25yrs as a singer and tribute artiste I have also been working as a ventriloquist for the last 6yrs. I work under the name of Emily Brown and Friends I perform singing and comedy through my puppet characters and have worked on cruise ships, rotary events and theatre shows around the UK and Europe. I perform a 1hr cabaret set featuring several different puppets and also audience participation where I transform one of the audience into a puppet.
I can also give a talk and workshop about ventriloquism teaching the basics
