Concorde has been a passion of mine since July 16th 1969 and Brian Trubshaw and André Turcat provided my wife and I with a personal Flypast the night before we were married. Since that date I have met many of the team that designed, built and maintained her and the Captains and crew who flew her. and even some of the celebrities who were regular passengers.
That passion led us to be selected for a place on the Antiques Roadshow "Golden World of Travel Special" where my wife and I were chosen to represent Concorde along with the First Captain of the Concorde Fleet.
In my Concorde Presentations, I share 50+ years of personal interest using a fully illustrated presentation of the life of the White Swan as she was initially called by the staff and the Rocket as she became to those who kept her in the air until 2003. I will share with you "on board" video footage of our flight to New York. and some of the not so well known "bits and pieces".
My Presentations are individually tailored to suit the Audience and can vary from a 30 minute "Taster" through to a 2 hour fully technical talk which I gave in Manchester at the Home of the Flagship G-BOAC. However, my one hour is the most popular taking the audience through the development and early days to the excitement of Flight and the sumptuous fine dining and fine wines.
Included will be local connections with the Companies and the people involved in the development and construction , many of whom are personal friends. I always wear a Concorde badge in my lapel and that badge has opened the doors to so many conversations and has led to some wonderful friendships.
Come with me and see just what it felt like to enjoy the "Concorde Experience." You will enjoy a professional delivery of a passionate presentation.

However, I have had to limit my ravelling times, in most cases to an hours either way unless especial circumstances prevail. I live close to Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire. I hope this will provide speaker secretaries an idea of the distance I am happy to travel; if in doubt, please ask.
I have gathered a startling range of experiences having been involved with charity and social organisations from the age of 14. These organisations provided such varied milestones working with Royalty, speaking to the largest AGM in Western Europe with 5000 delegates and being awarded the "Best Speaker" accolade, appointed a Senior Marshall for the Ryder Cup, Starter for the European Golf Seniors Tour, and acted as Master of Ceremonies at events from Business Conferences to Weddings. and Local and County chairmanship of such organisations. It all started at the Gloucestershire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs where I learned Public Speaking. I still teach and train youngsters of the YFC and it is rewarding to see the confidence it brings at all ages especially when they win competitions at National Level.
I started after dinner talks some 40 years ago and have spoken at Dinners nationwide. Preparation is so important and I take great care in ensuring that each presentation suits the audience of the day.
I enjoy researching the back ground for my presentations. The talks I give are all about subjects with which I, or close family, have been personally involved so providing that extra bit of information from personal experience or from historic evidence within my possession. I personally research, write and prepare each Presentation myself so providing that extra inside knowledge so important to providing an interesting presentation that flows.
