Terry Spencer DFC is often described as a cross between Biggles and James Bond. His life long motto was 'Live Dangerously.' I have worked with Terry's daughter and Getty Images to create a visually stunning and fascinating look into an incredible life described in video interviews by Terry himself.

Terry was a WW2 Spitfire pilot, with a remarkable story of survival who left post war Britain for South Africa to start a photography business. He later became a photo journalist with LIFE and People Magazines, famously photographing The Beatles and the swinging 60s.

A host of celebrities, politicians and well known faces were captured by Terry. He reported from war zones including the Congo Uprising, Arab Israeli conflict and the Vietnam War.

About Nick Oram

My Name is Nick Oram and I am a historian, author, speaker and pilot.

I have drawn together incredible true stories from my two published books about Second World War fighter pilots who flew the iconic Supermarine Spitfire.

Unusually, my Power Point presentation includes first hand TV interviews and accounts from the pilots themselves who captivate audiences with their tales of combat missions and a daily fight for survival.

My talk, typically from 30 minutes to 1 hour in length, has enthralled audiences at historic museums, Rotary Clubs and history societies. They are not technical talks - these are human stories of incredible courage combined with the modesty and good humour typical of veterans.

“Your presentation was excellent & much enjoyed. I will pass on your name to other Rotary clubs since I think the videos you include make it really unusual.” Vanessa Jenkins Chislehurst Rotary.

“One of the best talks we’ve had.” Catherine Pearce Maidstone Rotary

Fees & Expenses I typically charge £75 for Zoom presentations or £95 in person + travel expenses (50p per mile) depending upon location. I bring my own laptop & ask my hosts to provide a screen & projector. Part of the proceeds from my book and coffee sales are used to support WW2 charities.
