I have been writing Poetry for fifty years - and my subject matter mostly deals with the various incidents that have made me laugh.

I have constructed a "boy's eye view" on life that has emerged through growing up, parenthood, being in a family business, sporting pleasures, a happy married life and living for fifteen years in the Scottish Highlands playing Bed & Breakfast to the world - before returning to be amongst our children and grandchildren. Oh Happy days.

About Dennis East

Hello, my Poems are an "Autobiographical Drift" through my busy, long and happy experiences. They all rhyme and are normally written through humorous persuasion.

My poems are suitable for all adults that enjoy the happy side of life - I was once proudly described as being a bit like "Pam Ayres on Guinness" and I can live with that.

Although I have three books published, I'm quite new to the speaker world and I really enjoy it.

Living on the Oxfordshire /Northamptonshire / Warwickshire borders - I'm fortunately in range and ready to travel to anywhere that wants me.
