This talk covers the construction of meadows large and small. It tells of making a meadow in a garden as well as large fields. I describe the difference between meadows and pastures and the plants and animals you can expect to find in a meadow.
This talk is based on my own experience in turning an overgrazed paddock into a rich and varied meadow.

A senior research fellow at St Mary's Hospital Medical School I had a career in clinical genetics before moving into conservation. I have run my own company, Bewdley Orchids, that grew British native orchids or reintroduction into conservation projects.
I have written over a dozen books, text books, popular science and professional level books. These have all been science based on many varied subjects such as genetics, astronomy, orchid cultivation and meadow cultivation.
