An Illustrated talk of my eleven months, 4000-mile walk around the glorious coastlines of Wales and England, I talk of the people I met, the problems I had and the assorted people and animals I met on the way. This talk can be either visual with a photograph presentation or can be a talk and show presentation if a visual display is not available, The talking presentation will contain more stories and detail about the mechanics of the walk such as wild camping and latrine placement. The talking presentation can be tailored if particular aspects are required by you. I try to be entertaining and am happy to answer questions from the audience.

At 63 I decided to have an adventure. I walked around the coasts of Wales and England for MIND. A distance of 4000 miles. My standard talk describes some of the places I went, the people I met, and a few adventures. It is illustrated with an assortment of pictures from our glorious coast. I can also do a chat and show talk if a visual display is not available if people are more interested in the stories and practicalities of long-distance walking and wild camping. Finally, I can do a more motivational style talk about dealing with adversity and keeping a focus on your goals.
Whichever you choose I endeavour to be entertaining and am happy to answer questions or adjust the talk to help the audience.
The running time is about 60 minutes but obviously can be shortened or lengthened as required. From experience, there are usually a lot of questions.
I do these talks to raise some more money for MIND. I don't have a minimum donation
