About Pam Henry

I live in South Wiltshire and it would not be economical for me to travel more than about 30 miles from home. I've been writing stories for children since I was a little girl, but now that I'm retired I am able to spend more time doing what I love. I started to train more formally as a children's writer about twenty years ago, and have recently become successful in having my work published. I have subscribed to Writing Magazine for a number of years, and in April 2023 instead of just reading it, I'm in it! They picked up my story as an inspiration to other aspiring writers because I'm proof positive that you should never give up, it's never too late to start and anyone can do it. My talk is specifically about writing children's books, but it is helpful to anyone thinking about trying their hand at writing for the first time.
