Born in Carshalton I became interested in all thing’s ‘history’ at school. I was a huge fan of the horrible history books (LOL) which was a fun start to what has gone on to be. Having studied law at Hertfordshire University I then started a career in the civil service eventually combining a love of history and law by studying a Masters in legal history at Reading University. I now shares my love of history by giving talks and through my YouTube channel https://youtube.com/@gavelandthegrave56.
