In 2017 together with my husband (both retired police officers) I travelled around the world for a year with just a backpack, staying in hostels and budget accommodation the entire time. We started our year in Nepal, followed by India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador - including the Galapagos Islands - and finally Canada.

I offer an informative, lively and humourous account of our trip and the adventures and people we met along the way, together with photographs (slide show).
