The Cheshire Ring is one of today's most popular cruising routes in the UK. Learn about its fascinating history, architecture, industries and wildlife on a cruise on the Narrowboat Honeystreet.
The Ring is 97 miles long and features no fewer than six different canals in and around Cheshire and Greater Manchester in North West England: the Ashton Canal, Peak Forest Canal, Macclesfield Canal, Trent and Mersey Canal, Bridgewater Canal and Rochdale Canal.
We'll cruise through the centre of Manchester, past Old Trafford football ground, through one of the longest tunnels on the network at Preston Brook and pass the Anderton Boat Lift linking the Trent and Mersey with the River Weaver.
