My talk is an introduction to a Low Carb Lifestyle. I tell my own story of weight loss and remission from Type 2 diabetes, and give a brief explanation of why changing what we eat can have such an impact on our general health, helping to guard against many of the problems so many of us experience as we get older. I explain what it means to eat low carb real food meals, and quote real life examples of the successes others have had through following our course.

About Liz Lepla

The Public Health Collaboration is a UK registered charity dedicated to informing and implementing healthy decisions for better public health. We organise and run Low Carb Real Food lifestyle courses around the country and online for those who are living with diabetes, have weight loss issues, or just wish to improve their overall health. I put my own Type 2 diabetes in remission and lost 4 stone in weight, over a period of six months several years ago. I then joined the PHC as an Ambassador and have been running a successful Low Carb Lifestyle group for nearly three years for several GP surgeries in my local area of Basingstoke. I have also recently qualified as a Nutrition Network Low Carb/Ketogenic Nutrition advisor.
