Paulus watched Victoria Wood on television with his Mum and sister since the age of ten.

As well as a recognised National Treasure, Paulus believes her work in the 80s and 90s was a crucial tool to create community and safety for gay men at the time - a modern Polari, if you will.

Now he has created a show celebrating her musical genius and that very particular gift of language.

We also explore her links to musical hall and the alternative comedy scene and ask, was she in fact the last of our great variety entertainers?

Includes Victoria Wood songs played on Paulus’ trusty ukulele, Betsy.
