About Ruth Lowe

I am 70 years of age, I have two children, both girls. My interests include all things from the Mod era of the 1960s generally, travel, reading, theatre and museums. I have worked closely with a few of museums, loaning clothes for exhibitions and giving Talks. I have been carrying out Speaker Engagements for the past 7 years (from 2015). I do three Talks based on fashion:

  1. Mary Quant Part 1 - her early life, career and designs
  2. Mary Quant Part 2 - her later life career and designs
  3. Other Designers of the 1960s working on Kings Road and Carnaby Street through the 1960s These Talks are very popular, I receive repeat bookings after most of them. The majority of my bookings come from recommendations.
