Jim was born during WW2. How had he come to work with such luminaries as Anthony Perkins, Rod Steiger, Christian Bale, Ray Winstone, Jeremy Brett, David Tennant, David Morrissey and more?. Becoming a recurring character in Coronation Street, Jim has appeared in more than 50 Episodes and is friends with many of the senior actors. This glorious gallop from 1942 to the present day is illustrated with many pictures and clips from programmes he has appeared in. Put over with humour and wit, a memorable romp.

About Jim Whelan

JIM WHELAN BI0GRAPHY

I have been an actor for 50 years and have worked with many of the top stars of Television and Film. Over the years, I have appeared in some of the biggest storylines in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, The Royle Family and recently Home Fires. The highlight of this year has been working with American superstar Rob Lowe in Wild Bill for ITV. I am also immensely proud to be accepted by Cunard and P&O as a Cruise Ship Speaker. Having worked in clubs and Theatres as a stand-up comic, my talks are put over with humour and panache.
