My talk is separated in 4 key areas:

  1. Making a Will - covering the importance of writing a Will, what happens if you don't write a Will, what to think about when preparing a Will.
  2. Lasting Powers of Attorney - covers what they are and how to prepare them.
  3. Inheritance Tax - the rules explained and how to mitigate potential Inheritance Tax liability.
  4. Asset protection - explaining the rules of means-testing for care fees, the deprivation of capital rules and ways to protect your family home.

After practising as a Solicitor for over 12 years specialising exclusively in Wills & Probate, I have set up my own company, Vale Wills Ltd, offering specialist advice and assistance in this area.
