Neil published a small book in 2000 titled HAVE GUITAR WILL TRAVEL and it sold out very quickly. He took his guitar many lands; playing in Italy for Liz Taylor and Chaplin's daughter Geraldine, playing for a Red Army Tank Division in Transylvania, for Bill Clinton and Tony Blair's Cabinet at the Blackpool Conference among so many events. In 1987, played in Belfast having negotiated a petrol-bomb attack at a road block before being held at gunpoint by a British Army Sniper. He manages to survive all of these adventures only to be attacked by a multiple-killer near Newbury in 1975 and in 2000, he gave a Royal Command performance for Her Majesty the Queen Mother's 100th Birthday. It is true to say that no-one has stories quite like this collection. told by the man who experienced it all.

In the Belfast Troubles, a Molotov Cocktail is thrown at my taxi and in Newbury, a killer escaping the Police hits my car. A very special set of stories like no other.
Talk 2 is BEYOND THE IRON CURTAIN where I take the audience through the Iron Curtain and into a world of Secret Police and the KGB, go up north in Russia to meet real Eskimos and am arrested twice. A no-holds-barred set of tales from the world's largest and most dangerous territory, not simply a cosy travelog.
Both talks contain live music on my guitar, Talk 2 has slides.
Talk 3 is 1000 YEARS OF GUITAR from The Crusades to The Shadows, music of Kings and Queens, across the world from The Incas to Persia, there is no greater variety of music than this.
