I start by saying..following driving the Aid Trucks for 10 year to Romania Albania and Bosnia my daughter took me to Goa India for a two week holiday. My PowerPoint presentation follows my experience of starting the Charity, the problems and then the rescues. We see children on rubbish tips, we go inside the slums and see the shanty huts they live in, visit the children on the streets begging. I explain the caste system and show many of out Homes DayCare Shelters, Community Centres medical stories with interesting pictures, Our Non formal School our numerous Slum Schools, Digging Wells for fresh water, my time in Gujarat in 2002 working with the earthquake victims and setting up shelters under canvas, my time during the Tsunami 2005 setting up make do accomadion and feeding programmes. I finish with Happy children on the beach, Sports day cricket and football and the stall in the Flea Market

After driving the Aid Trucks to to Romania, Albania and Bosnia for 10 years from 1986 I went to Goa India in 1996 for a two weeks holiday. Here I saw Street Children eating out of the dustbins of my hotel and begging on the Streets. I had a vision to set up Homes and Shelters for these children so I got registered with Charity Commissions in UK and India and in 1997 the first Children's Home was opened with 34 children.Today we have seven Residential Children's oHomes, three Community Centres with Day Care and Medical assistance, five Day Care Shelters, an excellent school for our residential children who come to us very traumtised,Slum Schools and much more,My photos speak louder than words. Now I am 75 I only spend 4-5 months in Goa each year as I find it too hot so I have more time to give my presentation. I have been giving talks since 1986 since the first journey to Romania. I am a registered W.I. Speaker, have spoken at many ROTARY Clubs,PROBUS , Churches, Soroptomist Clubs & U 3 A groups . I did speak at the Kingsbridge U3A Club last autumn who said they would put my name forward. I like to bring Indian Artefax to sell, 100% proceeds go to the charity.
