Five years ago, three months before my seventieth birthday, I became the first man in recorded history to walk the three thousand kilometre length of the Zambezi River.

I have given this talk on well over fifty occasions and it is invariably well received.

About David LEMON

I am a Zimbabwean Writer, Adventurer and Conservationist, now resident on Dartmoor. Having been raised in the wilds of Central Africa, I am passionate to the point of fanaticism about elephants and can bring considerable knowledge of other iconic species of African wildlife to my talks.

Although I enjoy doing after dinner talks and addressing luncheon clubs and giving motivational talks to business organisations, I am also happy to talk to smaller groups such as Probus, WI and Rotary. In fact, I will address any groups if circumstances permit.

I carry my own equipment, but am always happier if a screen is provided as mine is inclined to be small for larger venues.

I do charge a basic fee and mileage for my talks but am always happy to negotiate if a group cannot afford my charges.
