My talk is a Powerpoint Presentation which takes about 45 minutes. Charles Waterton was an accident prone man who survived, against the odds, until his early eighties. I explain his heritage, his travels, taxidermy and troubles. By building a three mile long stone wall (much of which can still be seen) he created the first nature reserve, right here in Yorkshire.
