As an Community Presenter I have delivered well over 600 presentations to groups all over the south east and developed my own presentations and style.

The RNLI story is one that captures audiences young and old and feedback is generally very positive.

My presentation is a fast moving talk supported by graphic pictures, video and sound and tells the story of the modern RNLI operations, equipment and training. A alternative talk exploring the innovations made within the RNLI over 200 years of service is also available but best used for audiences with an interest in technology or as a follow up talk.

Having been an active boating enthusiast and owning my own boat for most of my life the RNLI has always been dear to my heart. Having the knowledge that they were always there should I ever have the misfortune to be in trouble whilst at sea has been very comforting. So when I found myself with some spare time, following my retirement from a career in aircraft maintenance and operations, volunteering to work with the RNLI was quite a natural thing to do.

Willing to travel up to 50 minutes for a presentation to a reasonable size group. Traveling from North Surrey. (Chertsey Jnc 11 M25) so time of day is a factor.
