I am a retired GP but joined the Yorkshire speakers group partly to help promote and disseminate news about the novels I have written. These are easy reading based in a fictitious GP surgery in the Yorkshire Dales. I donate a percentage of my book sales and any fee for my talk to Breast Cancer UK. I have three talks, Doctor to Author, which is how I became a doctor and some of my experiences, together with the ups and downs of trying to write and publish a novel. My second talk is Stethoscope Secrets, which is about my career and full of anecdotes.
