Biography:

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People train incredible dogs who change deaf people's lives.

We now offer 'virtual' talks throughout the country to any group wishing to learn about our work. Perfect for socially-distant meetings, and with cute dogs too!

We have a network of volunteer speakers throughout the North West, North Wales & Northern Ireland who are able to visit community groups, schools, businesses and other interested parties. Speakers will talk about the work of the charity and the incredible difference a Hearing Dog makes to the life of a deaf person. Some speakers are the recipient of a Hearing Dog themselves or will bring a local partnership with them, others will come without a dog but may bring cute videos of our pups being trained. All will have a wealth of information to share. We request a minimum donation of £40 for adult groups. There is no fee for children's groups but if you are able to undertake some fundraising for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People we would be very grateful. Speakers can provide literature, may bring some charity merchandise to sell and will bring a collection box for any donations. Full receipts are provided.
