Views: 971 | Enquiries: 10For 26 years Colin was a science teacher at a special school for visually impaired and physically disabled pupils. After retiring from full-time teaching Colin was employed by the local education authority to support pupils to whom English was a second language. Part of his job was also to take storytelling sessions in schools and at festivals.
During the past 20 years Colin has presented more than 250 storytelling events in over 180 schools, libraries, village halls, festivals, over 50s clubs, Women's institutes, Probus and even a prison.
As well as teaching in schools Colin has worked as a research chemist for ICI in Edinburgh and as a university lecturer in Jamaica.
Originally from County Down in Ireland Colin has lived in Canada, Scotland, and Jamaica and spent some time with the Maya people in Mexico.
