About Maggie Poppa

After twenty years in consulting I retired but found exciting things to occupy my time. Initially offered training by BBC Local Radio and worked two and a half years at BBC Radio York. Went on to commissions for Yorkshire magazines mainly interviewing famous people and still doing that twelve years later. Asked to speak about life after retirement, locally at first, then ripples spread so that now speaking occupies all my free time.

As requested for return visits added talks about other aspects of my life. Please note that this speaker speaks without notes!

All of my speaking fees are passed to my local Hospice - St Gemma's Hospice, Leeds - over £20k raised so far.
