This talk describes the day to day domestic problems, enlivened by amusing anecdotes, of my living and working as a foreigner in far-flung places in Africa, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the South Pacific.
My talk reflects my experiences in these very remote and rarely visited countries and is illustrated using my own photographs in a PowerPoint presentation.Views: 218 | Enquiries: 0
As an independent development consultant, I worked in 14 different developing countries in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Oceania including spending over nine years on the Old Silk Road in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. My last long term assignment was as adviser to the Minister of Development, Planning and Aid Coordination in the Solomon Islands.
My talks reflect my experiences in these very remote and rarely visited countries. Each is illustrated using my own photographs in a PowerPoint presentation.
I am based in South Cheshire and am willing to travel reasonable distances in the North West and West Midland areas.
