Whether taken in the splendour of the Ritz, the warmth of a country tea room, in a humble beachside café or at home in front of a roaring fire, tea still comes out top as Britain's favourite beverage. Accompanied by anything from a simple biscuit to a decadent cake, in the early morning or late at night, who could ask any anything more?
In this talk Eve will "tickle your tastebuds" by presenting the history of tea and suggestions of cakes to suit any mood. She also shares her favourite 'Afternoon Tea' places in and around East Anglia and further afield.
Talk duration: 45 - 60 minutes, with time for questions. Includes music, a quiz and a leaflet giveaway with recipe and places to go for Afternoon Tea.

Views: 1360 | Enquiries: 4For 25 years I worked as a Theatrical Agent, Event Organiser and Celebrity Booker providing entertainment services for retail parks, corporate events, councils and private functions all over the UK. My clients included such high profile companies as Harrods, Standard Chartered Bank, IBM, Aberdeen Asset Management to name but a very small number. After a very hectic 24/7 lifestyle, I decided to diversify and undertake public speaking engagements and upon retirement from business life, this is now what I do full time. I found I love being in front of audiences instead of behind the scenes.
I am a member of British Actors Equity, have public liability insurance to £10,000,000 and am happy to speak to small or large audiences.
LOCATIONS: Essex only. Mornings and afternoons. ZOOM: I am no longer doing any Zoom talks.
