Delivered in the first person, it covers the life of Rudyard Kipling, interspersed with dramatic readings of his poetry.
It recounts his early years in India, his traumatic childhood years spent in Southsea, his time in India as a reporter, his marriage to his best friend's sister, and the tragic loss of his son John in the Great War, and the earlier loss of his eldest daughter Josephine.

I took early retirement in 2010, having previously spent a career in IT, Quality Assurance and Process Improvement, latterly with Vodafone UK at their headquarters in Newbury, Berkshire. I have subsequently taken up a second career as a public speaker/performer, and have now delivered over 800 talks/performances.
My talks are predominantly based on literary figures and topics.
