Mexico is both varied and colourful and this talk takes you off the beaten track to explore some of the lesser-known parts of the country. Highlights include breathtaking Aztec sites, bustling markets and remote mountain villages. The talk visits the amazing colonies of overwintering Monarch butterflies, high in the Sierra Madre mountains, and describes their extraordinary migrations from the USA. And there's the Copper Canyon - far, far bigger and far, far deeper than the Grand Canyon - as well as the ancient canals of Mexico City and the annual radish festival in Oaxaca!

He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society and a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute. He is also a member of the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild.
Roger has a particular interest in the heritage of our canals and can offer talks which include fascinating archive images of our wonderful waterways - as well as colourful contemporary images.
