As an award-winning milliner of 12 years and counting, Rachel gives a fascinating insight into the life of an independent milliner.

Having been featured on BBC Radio 2, invited to the Golden Globes, had designs displayed on the cat-walk, and shivered through many a photo-shoot, there are lots of tales to tell!

This talk includes:

  • A presentation with lots of photos
  • An accompanying variety of hats and headpieces for the audience to try on
  • 'A Day In The Life of a Milliner'
  • Funny & informative stories of historical hats
  • Hints & tips for choosing and wearing hats - if you are so inspired!

Rachel also runs workshops on a regular basis, so there is the option to have a go at learning to make your own fascinators and hats.

About Rachel Warrillow

I am a self-employed milliner, tutor, writer, speaker, mindfulness enthusiast and cat psychologist. Friends and family say to me, "Your life is never boring, is it?!" Variety really is the spice of my life, and I am very blessed to be able to have the flexibility to indulge in so many wonderful occupations.

I really enjoy meeting new people through the talks that I give, sharing my stories and keeping most people awake throughout a talk & presentation. Sharing my experiences, enthusiasms and knowledge is an honour, and I can't wait to meet you and your group.
