50 days in a red t-shirt, describes the challenge of walking the GR5 through the French alps from Lac Leman near Geneva to Menton on the Cote d'Azur. A total of 700Km with over 37000m of ascent and descent. Woven into the talk is the story of the Red Rubber Ball Foundation charity, providing educational opportunities to some of the most deprived children in Kenya. Started in 2010 the small charity has put nearly 200 children through secondary education and given them the opportunity to fulfil their life's potential.

About Jon Hill

As a child I was very kindly sponsored to have a private education. Nearly 40 years later I am supporting the Red Rubber Ball Foundation to provide similar opportunities for children in Kenya, where there is no free secondary education and many gifted children are forced to drop out, destined for a life of poverty.

I am based in Hertfordshire and willing to travel, but may request assistance with expenses for longer journeys.

I am also able to give virtual talks, please contact me to arrange details.
